Is there a wordpress plugin that will allow registered users to create and manage their own blogs?

I have been looking around for one but cannot find one.
I want user who come to the blot to sign up on their own. An email is then sent to them to confirm. Then the user has access to the website to create and manage their own blog on the site. I do not want to add the users manually.

If you want them to have a totally separate blog to yours then you can use the multi-user function that comes with WordPress 3.1+. Once set up, your user can then create their own blog such as:

    newblog.yourdomain.com OR yourdomain.com/newblog

depending on how you set it and whether your hosting account allows for wildcard subdomains/subfolders, many don’t but I know hostgator does.

You can find out more information on how to do it here:

However, just a word of warning, if you do set up your site allowing anyone to register a domain on your site without you moderating it, then your website will most likely be targeted by spammers.

Um, the wordpress admin panel allows users with admin privileges to manage posts and pages, essentially, the blog. No extra plugins needed.

I think there’s a S2 Member plugin that will accomodate what you are looking for.

    1. Install wordpress on your website then
    2. http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

follow this above step to turn your website into MS (multisite). This will satisfy all your needs. you canhave the whole control to manage all domains.
