Okay, so I run a tutorial/blog/resource site & I noticed that when I put HTML Codes into the Text Areas in Wordpress I keep seeing this <p>! It’s messing up the HTML Codes! So I need to know if there is a plugin, or is there something else I can try! I tried these plugins already:Wordpress Code Snippet & SyntaxHighlighter Plus, none of them work! Any tips? Thanks in advance!
And the <p> appears inside the text area…:/

everytime I get on wordpress to edit some of my blogs it always freezes & I have no choice but to click control alt delete.

what is it about wordpress that slows my computer down so much?

I want to start making money when people look at my blogs & I have the script from infolinks but I can’t find where to put it. I have a basic begginners account on wordpress btw.

I registered with Wordpress.com, got myself a blog & received an email message. I noticed that at the bottom of the email message there is the following:

"Your WordPress.com API key allows you to use services like Akismet @ http://akismet.com/"

I know that this plugin prevents spam, that’s why I need it obviously

So I downloaded the plugin but don’t know where to go to the plugins section as mentioned on their website http://akismet.com/download/
"Steps to install" section.

"Upload the plugin file to your WordPress plugins directory inside of wp-content." Where do I find my plugins directory on my blog? Please be specific.

One more thing, do I need to install Wordpress from this website
http://wordpress.org/download/ or is it optional? What is it and what does it do?

Do I need to mention to be specific again? Hopefully not.

I opened an account there, so how do I transfer my blog to wordpress. do I just cut & paste?
also can i transfer multiple 360 blogs to wordpress or are they fussy about how many blogs get transferred?

I accidentally changed the url and it completely wipedout, meaning it didn’t exist anymore — but my friend uploaded everything again.

However now it says "Fatal error: Class ‘SimplePie_Cache’ not found in /home/finch/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/class-feed.php on line 6" for Development Blog & Plugins…..anything I have to worry about?

I am 46 & I am planning to get into the IT field. All I know is some html 7 css. Now I was recommended to learn Linux to get a job. I am have the choice between learning Linux Administration, or web development or SQL server database. What would you guys do in my shoes? I am 46 & I am giving myself 1 year. Regards.

I have a domain name & would like to set up a wordpress blog, using my domain name.
Can I do that without going through a host?

And how do I get the big pictures etc on my blog, i have a test blog & they only come up small.

i have a hp compaq presario c300 with at&t as my internet provider. im new to linux and after countless hours of googling ways to fix my problem i am still unable to connect to the internet. im running ubuntu 9.10 and in the wireless manager menu it doesnt even register that my internet is there.
