Two New Compiz Fusion Plugins: Screensaver and Aquarium

    Oh, Fedora? I think that I tried it once. I never actually installed it, though.

    And I agree with you about how Vista is terrible…hopefully (but not likely) Windoze 7 (not a typo) will be better.

    In which case Ubuntu would be great for him. Take a moment to set it up for him and he’ll NEVER be able to damage it in any way.
    My grandmother (78) uses Ubuntu 8.10 and my mum (52) uses openSuSE with a config that I set up for her.
    When either of them have trouble I remote desktop into their machines and help, but that’s only when they need a program they don’t have yet.
    Windows is too easy to break for newbie users.

    go here to learn how to install the screensaver plugin.
    make sure you also install git using the command sudo apt-get install git-core

    i cant get it to install on my system, im running ubuntu 10.04, is there a sudo apt-get line that i can use in terminal to get this cause the sites that i have seen where using git and creating folders is just not working on my system, following the step by step instructions and it wont do it. thanks
