I recently downloaded and created an ubuntu 10.10 disc and I want to install it on a partition on my intel mac, but I can’t seem to get linux to recognize the apple wireless keyboard and mouse I am using. Is it possible to get linux to recognize them before installation? Or do I have to install using other peripherals and then pair the apple stuff?

How can I install linux on multiple computers with the same settings?
I have 7 computers that I would like to install linux on (CentOS to be specific). The computers are all slightly different in terms of hardware, some are Intel, others are AMD. I have to install a lot of packages. I would like to be able to just do all the installation work on one computer, and then clone that system to all the others and just change hostnames. Is this possible?
Should I upgrade from 8.04 to Ubuntu 9.10 on my Pentium III?
I am running Ubuntu 8.04 release on my Intel Pentium III with 256 RAM. If I upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10 will it slow my computer or will my computer be faster than it is now?
