Zorin OS 6 Review – Linux Distro Reviews

This is a very useful desktop application is you are moving over from the Windows side. The setup of the desktop is very Windows 7ish.

==What should I do for my 100th video celebration?== Zorin OS is a fantastic Ubuntu-based system that is perfect for the new user. With all of the codecs and apps that you’ll need for a basic system provided out of the box, the new user will feel very comfortable trying this system on. Admirable performance, and very nice tweaks round out this system as simply the most user friendly in the most traditional way. Ultimate Virtualization in Ubuntu

Who needs a Mac to run “Parallels”? Don’t be deceived by the “Windows vs. Mac” ads; they conveniently forget to mention Linux; a FREE alternative, which blows both out of the water. In this video, you’ll see FL Studio 7 running in Windows XP within Ubuntu on a PC. I’ve also demonstrated the 3D capabilities of the following software combination: Ubuntu Feisty, Beryl, VMWare Workstation 6 (running Windows XP with FL Studio 7 running perfectly with very little CPU usage), Google Earth & Mozilla Firefox w/ Flash 9. What is a good Windows-compatible open source operating system?

I need an OS that can run Windows binaries, but I do not know many open source ones out there.
I am not looking for Windows itself, but rather an OS that can run Windows binaries.
Running Wine on Linux doesn’t quite work with every program I am attempting to install. Since I have tried this, please don’t suggest using Linux to run Windows programs.
