Xsite Pro vs WordPress vs Dreamweaver?

Hello all all get straight to the point.

I have a personal blog that I’ve run for a year now. As a result I have a little knowledge of html, css.

Now I want to build several descent looking mini sites geared for adsense.

I plan to use original content on all the sites and have niches in mind.

BUT…. I don’t know what to use to build the sites. I keep hearing the following:

Xsitepro: Builds websites easy, cons are that it’s expensive and the sites all look the same. I’m not that concerned about the latter.

WordPress: Great for seo and has great plugins and it’s free, but its hard to customize. I’m a newbie so I’d have to learn code rather well to make wordpress blogs look like websites.

Dreamweaver: Said to be used by the pros, but it’s expensive, hard to use, and does not create "valid code" always.

I need something that makes fast, descent sites, with good seo.

And I was thinking about using photoshop for graphics work – can I use with all three?

Help me out guys wasting money isn’t cool. Thanks!!!

How to add HTML in TextAreas to WordPress?

Okay, so I run a tutorial/blog/resource site & I noticed that when I put HTML Codes into the Text Areas in WordPress I keep seeing this <p>! It’s messing up the HTML Codes! So I need to know if there is a plugin, or is there something else I can try! I tried these plugins already:Wordpress Code Snippet & SyntaxHighlighter Plus, none of them work! Any tips? Thanks in advance! 🙂
And the <p> appears inside the text area…:/

Any Suggestions to What WordPress Themes will suit my Website?

I have a corporate website where i write many articles to explain the different types of insurance and financing plans. What type of wordpress theme would suit me? one that preferably has good archives and easy scrolling for customers to scrow through what they would like to read. (Archive Style)
Ya, jonathan, i was hoping you could give me good feed back on this. Not to be offensive, i’m sure your website cyberplanet is good but the theme is just terrible. IF you would like to promote your unsafe product, please do so elsewhere

Developing Themes For WordPress: Part 1

Since I finished the Drupal series a while ago, I’ve often receive requests to do similar coverage about WordPress. Only now do I feel in a position to do so because I have a real project (the redesign of my personal website) upon which to base it on. Over the next nine weeks, I’ll demonstrate the full process of designing a theme that spans more than eight hours of edited video. During that time, you’ll see me writing code, use online resources and troubleshoot through my own mistakes. In the first part, I set the scene as we create the basic files, talk about reference materials we will use as well as writing some WordPress specific code. How do you make money from blogs?

I’m thinking of starting my own blog but don’t know how to make money from it. Among the thing I’d like to know are:

1. how do I market it to potential advertisers?
2. how do I make it visible (since it’s a new blog)?
3. how do I link it to various sites like yahoo, redbook and others?
4. if I register with blog sites like wordpress and my blog generates a high traffic, do I get compensated?

Please include links, if possible…Thank you.
