Fedora 17 KDE Review – Linux Distro Reviews

So here is a review of the KDE under Fedora 17. Looks good.

Overall, this respin of Fedora 17 provides the same great stable base as the Gnome version, but with a very nicely unified KDE 4.8.3 Software Compilation. Complete with all of the great KDE apps, the Calligra Suite also makes a stable debut. Faster login time as well as easier – but somewhat old school – package management, Fedora 17 KDE is looking like a very worth while release. Thanks for the feedback everybody! Linux Mint 13 Review – Linux Distro Reviews

A review of the release candidate of Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon Edition that sports Cinnamon 1.4 on top of all the Mint goodies you’ve come to expect from the Mint team, plus this is a Long Term Support release as it is based off Ubuntu 12.04. This is a great release for the new user, as it provides a traditional user experience and customisation abilities that easily outmatch Gnome 3. Highly recommended. Thesis WordPress Theme / Framework Review

The “Thesis” theme is very popular among professional web developers. It is a highly customizable theme for WordPress which includes great added functionality. As well as letting you edit certain options such as the title text for each of your posts, it also gives the benefit of much improved Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for your whole website. For this reason a lot of web developers consider Thesis, despite its moderate price tag, to be a “no brainer” option for creating professional websites.
