MK802 $74 Mini PC running Ubuntu 10.04 Linux
Here is some cool stuff. Here is Ubunutu running on 512MB ram on a mini PC.
liliputing.com The MK802 is a tiny PC with an Allwinner A10 CPU, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a mini HDMI port, mini USB port, and full-sized USB port. It also has a microSDHC card slot — and this video shows that while the device ships with Android 4.0 you can load an alternate operating system on a memory card and boot from it. This is a pre-compiled Ubuntu 10.04 Linux image.

Fedora 17 KDE Review – Linux Distro Reviews
So here is a review of the KDE under Fedora 17. Looks good.
Overall, this respin of Fedora 17 provides the same great stable base as the Gnome version, but with a very nicely unified KDE 4.8.3 Software Compilation. Complete with all of the great KDE apps, the Calligra Suite also makes a stable debut. Faster login time as well as easier – but somewhat old school – package management, Fedora 17 KDE is looking like a very worth while release. Thanks for the feedback everybody! Since recent releases, Ubuntu has used Unity as its default desktop environment. In this week’s episode of OS.ALT I describe the important differences for you, and what the improvements found in the latest version of Unity released with Ubuntu 12.04 mean in comparison with Gnome 3. Hint: Ubuntu 12.04 really floored me, in no small part due to Unity and the HUD.
